I've only been vending for a few days so I'm looking for a way around this issue...every vendor likely knows of it, maybe I am just not aware of the workaround.
Say I have 200 pills that I want to sell. I have 5 different listings set up:
10 pills
50 pills
100 pills
150 pills
200 pills
For instance, if someone purchases a 10 pill listing, I will only have 190 pills left, and the 200 pill listing will be unavailable... but if someone purchases it before I can adjust the quantities, then I have to cancel their order and I likely wasted their time. Is there any way I can have it so all these listings are tied to the same quantity counter? Or perhaps for weed I might have 5 different listings of different quantities, all tied to 512g.
Any ideas?

This would be a good feature but unfortunately is not currently available. Submit a feature request and maybe in the future, AB.

* Price: The price should be a function where you add ranges of weights and each range gets a specific price. For example product X costs Y BTC for 5 to 25 grams, but if you order 1 to 4 grams you can set it to either a higher fixed price or a higher fixed percentage for each gram, and for more than 25 grams you can do the reverse and give a discount.
* Quantity: The same function as always, to list the amount available. The exception now though is that since it's possible to segment different weights into different price classes there won't be any need to create new listings for different weights. This way the vendor can have multiple weight listings yet still accurately able to keep track of the quantity available. Also quantity should work similarly to how Currencies work, ie. you should be able to switch the type of Quantity and also have decimals for products which are dealt in very small quantities, for example mg, ml, pills etc..
This would also make it significantly easier to create new Custom Listings. We currently use a system of having a 5 gram listing per product and then five additional price points to a total of six in total. Here's an example of how it looks like in practice, translated from Swedish to English:
This listing is for five (5) grams for 340,00 kr. Price per Gram: 68,00 kr
For a Custom Order contact us. We have the following rates:
1-4 grams: Price per Gram + 30 % = 88,40 kr
5-15 grams: Price per Gram ± 0 % = 68,00 kr
16-29 grams: Price per Gram - 15 % = 57,80 kr
30-49 grams: Price per Gram - 20 % = 54,40 kr
50-99 grams: Price per Gram - 25 % = 51,00 kr
100-200 grams: Price per Gram - 30 % = 47,60 kr
I then move the feedback from any Custom Listings to the corresponding listing for 5 grams to a text "feedback" section, not a perfect system but it works quite well for us. :)
